It must be also noted that only 50 keys can be carried by one character per stack. Also the key willbe stored in the key tab and not stored in your regular bags. So don’t worry if you don’t have any keys in your bag and always check the key tab for your keys.
How to get Ethereum Prison Key?
So now the question comes How can we Get Ethereum Keys?
Basically for getting etherum keys player must be at level 70, he must have completed the chain quest and unlocked Ameer’s Repeatable Quest. These are the basic requirements to get the prison key.
So to get the prison keys you must complete a chain questline from The Consortium in bladge’s edge mountain. “Seek Out Ameer” is the name of the quest to start this questline. It is available only if the player is at level 70 and is given by “Protectorate Advisor Rahim” located in Stormspire, Netherstorm,
After you will follow this questline, it will take you to “Commander Ameer” and further he will give you more quests namely A mission of mercy, and etherum secrets, which are to be completed in order to receive the keys.
Lets talk about these two quests more precisely.
A Mission of Mercy:
This quest, “A Mission of Mercy,” is received from Commander Ameer. In this quest ameer will ask you to recover Salvaged Ethereum Prison Key from the mobs surrounding Manaforge Ultris in Netherstorm. After you are successful in looting the key, return it to Ameer.
Ethereum Secrets:
Commander ameer gives this quest to the player. In this quest, the player is asked to farm an Ethereum Prisoner I.D. Tag. Nearby Manaforge Ultris, there is “etherum prisoner” who will drop this item. After receiving it you can complete the quest.
Now you will be eligible to do the daily quest after the successful completion of these two quests. Again it must be noted that these quests will only be available to the player when he is at level 70 and the reputation of the player with The Consortium should be at Neutral or more advanced.
After unlocking the daily quest, “Ethereum Prisoner I.D. Catalogue”, player can farm Ethereum Prisoner I.D. Tag from Ethereum Prisoner. He also has a option to recover Ethereum Prison Key from any Ethereum mobs near and around Manaforge Ultris in Netherstorm. The drop chance of the key is usually around 5%. Then the player can further use the Ethereum Prison Key to open Ethereum prisons, from which the Prisoner I.D. Tag can be dropped.
There is also an additional way to farm Ethereum Prison Keys. Player can do the daily dungeon quests. But this way is usually not as effective as the key can be obtained as a reward and can only be obtained once per day.
How to use Ethereum Prison Key?:
Ethereum Prison Keys which are gathered from the mobs around Manaforge Ultris is primarily used to open the Ethereum Prisons. To receive the loot you need to first defeat the mobs. When you will use the Ethereum Prison Key on the sphere prison cage, the cage will release a level 71 mob.
After you will be able to defeat the mob, you can receive the loot and will be able complete the quest with Commander Ameer.You must make sure that when you are attacking the mob there are no other players near you, otherwise they can attack your mob summoned from the Ethereum Prison and can further steal your rewards. Also it must be aimed to farm more and more keys as possible before going to the Ethereum Staging Grounds as this will increase the chance for best rewards.

The reward after killing the mob can differ from player to player. There is a chance of getting an uncommon green item. Also the player can get a blue item which is an rare item. It sells nicely on the Auction House. You can also receive an Ethereum Prisoner I.D. Tag along with other items which will be required to finish the repeatable quest “Ethereum Prisoner I.D. Catalogue” from Commander Ameer.
There can also be chance that a neutral mob comes from the cage instead of an enemy.
