Humble Bundle was the first “bundle” site, actually. They later expanded into a Humble Store, which sells DRM-free games and Steam keys (depending on the game) individually. They’re legit; they get their keys directly from the publisher/develope
To purchase a product as a gift on the Humble Store, just add the game to your Shopping Cart and then click the “This purchase is a gift” checkbox before checkout. You’ll be given the option to enter their email address or receive a giftable link. You can also choose to send the gift anonymously if you’d like
Purchasing a bundle as a gift for a friend or family member is as easy as checking a box! Here’s you need to follow steps
During the checkout process for any of our bundles, you will be presented with the option to mark the bundle as a gift:
Once you check the box next to the gift purchase option, a field will appear for you to enter your gift recipient’s email address. This will send the bundle directly to them!
If you want to make the gift anonymous, please check the “Make this gift anonymous” checkbox.
After making that purchase, you will see two emails – a payment confirmation email and an email confirming that the bundle link has been sent to your friend (with their email address in view).
Your friend will see an email come through with a link to the bundle like this (if you made the gift anonymous):
If you don’t want to send a gift right away, you may select the “Get a giftable link” button instead. Instead of sending the bundle directly to a friend, it will send you the gift link which you can later send to someone!
After making a purchase with that option selected you will see a different two emails – a payment confirmation email and an email with the gift link. Please send that gift link URL to your gift recipient. Once that page is opened, they will see the following instructions
Gifting Humble Store Games

Gifting a Humble Choice Subscription
If you would like to purchase a subscription for a friend, you may do so with any available plan through the checkout window!
First choose to purchase a subscription as a gift, and select the desired plan. Once you proceed, you will get taken to the checkout window:
Partial Gifting: Gifting Individual Keys
* Only keys can be gifted using this partial gifting system. DRM-free content is not permitted to be gifted to other people unless a separate gift purchase is made. More information about how to place a gift order can be found in the first two sections of this help article.
If you receive games you do not want or already own, you are free to gift the key to a friend using the regular “Gift to Friend” feature from the Humble Subscriber Hub. This can be found by taking the following steps:
- Click on the game you wish to gift to a friend. Please keep in mind this will use up one of your choices:
- You will then be met with a Region Lock Warning informing you of the regions available for the key you are gifting.
It’s important to note that some of the games provided may have region restrictions! This is dependent on the title as not every game has restrictions. If your Humble Choice subscription is tied to your account then it will be tied to your region. If your friend lives elsewhere, they may not be able to redeem the key properly.
In order to determine whether your friend can redeem the key, we encourage you to use the “Gift to Friend” option and watch for any pop-up messages that appear stating regios.
- Individual keys cannot be assigned to a different region. If you were to gift an entire month of Humble Choice to your friend then it should be assigned to their region.
- If you select the “Create Gift Link” option, you will see the link immediately which can be sent to your friend manually:
To be clear, this is only for Humble Monthly and not Humble Choice orders, as that gift process works differently. On your Humble Monthly download page, click on the “Gift to a friend” button located to the right of the Steam key redemption button:
You have the option to:
- Create a gift link – this will send a NEW URL specific to that game to your (the purchaser) email. From there please give the Gifted game URL to your friend to claim to their account.
- Send an email – this will allow you to just send the game directly to your friends email, and may be more convenient than the above option. After clicking that option you will see another pop up where you can enter that information:
How to Redeem a Gifted Bundle or Game
Congratulations! Someone has gifted you a Bundle or a game!
A gift from Humble Bundle comes in the form of a unique web address/URL, which looks like this:
(Note: This URL will not contain your keys! You will be emailed the download page containing your key(s) after claiming the gift URL)
Clicking that URL will take you to a page that prompts you to enter your email address.
Make sure to double-check that your email address is correct before clicking “Claim”!
Once you claim your gift, you’ll see a confirmation message.
You’ll soon receive an email in your inbox that contains a final link to your gift download page. (If you don’t see it, try looking in the Spam folder too. Gmail users may wish to check their Promotions folder for these emails)
Click on the Redeem Now, and you’ll find your download page, which will contain the game(s) that have been gifted to you.
*Note: Once an email address has been entered and the “Claim” button is clicked, that original gift URL will no longer work. It will send you to a page that looks like this instead:
If you see this message, that means the download page link was already sent to the email address that was submitted. If you didn’t already enter your email, please check with the gift purchaser to see if they entered an email address on that page.
If you entered an incorrect email address, you never got your download page link, or you’re having any other trouble with your gift
